Someone who is legally authorized to preside over/perform a couple’s wedding ceremony.
Some weddings are planned up to a year in advance. some are planned in a few months or a few weeks, while others are only a couple of days or on the spot. As soon as you and your fiancée have chosen a date, that would be the time to book the Officiant.

Last-minute requests are fine
Every type of couple from purely civil to religious and everything in between including nondenominational, interfaith, same-sex, commitment and multicultural.
We do not ever include a “Tip” or Gratuity” in our ceremony services as some may do. Offering a “Tip” or “Gratuity” for job well done is at your complete discretion, but is always appreciated.

ID Requirements:
In Texas, you will need one valid form of ID such as driver’s license, certified copy of your birth certificate, U.S. Passport, military ID, and your Social Security number.
Residency Requirements:
Neither one of you have to be a resident of Texas. Pre-marital Education: Is not required in the state of Texas.
Waiting Period in Texas:
There is a 72 hours (3 days) waiting period in Texas. This can be waived for active duty military with your military ID.
Expiration Period:
Do not obtain the license more than 90 days before the wedding. The license will expire on day 91 of the issuance. We recommend getting it 2-3 weeks before the ceremony.
Blood Test:
Not required in the State of Texas.
Fee:
Approximately $74.00 fees (price may vary by county) Your license is good in any county in Texas but can only be used in Texas.
No witnesses are required at the wedding.
